The British Art Journal was founded by Robin Simon, formerly Editor-in-Chief of Apollo magazine, and David Hodgson, formerly Art Editor of Apollo magazine, in 1999, and they publish, in addition to The British Art Journal, occasional exhibition catalogues, scholarly books and other specialized publications.
